Panels of mock cables and reverse stockinette stitch make a simple beanie with traditional sensibilities. At the crown, the panels lean towards each other, forming a lovely star shaped motif. Matches the Ferguson Cowl. This pattern uses a mock cable technique where a stitch is slipped for two rows, then dropped on the third before crossing it to the left or right. A cable needle is not required.
